Our wedding was an incredible day that totally exceeded all our hopes and expectations. Many people were involved in making this happen, but Reveries Events have to take a huge chunk of the responsibility for giving us a day that was beyond our wildest dreams. All of the staff at all stages, from conception through to planning and then execution, couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating, friendly, warm as well as totally professional and efficient. Not to mention creative! Wow! One of the things that surprised us most was that everybody at Reveries genuinely cared about giving us a day we'd never forget. They achieved this, and so much more.
We had some ideas about what we'd like, some of which were fixed (like the giant glitterball, lol!) but we relied heavily on the creativity and artistry of John Wallis (an amazing man) to build us an event that was compared by many of our guests to a television or movie set, both in the senses of scale, glamour and romanticism. Even with graphics, descriptions, plans and photos of previous events, nothing had prepared us for what we saw when we entered our ceremony, banqueting and reception rooms. We both hugged and cried as we couldn't quite believe that our special day was going to be something so magical!
The draping around the room that was so beautifully lit added a true sense of the fairytale that captured who we are. The stage, white dancefloor, fantastic lighting, and yes....our precious giant glitterball, created a glamourous and sophisticated party atmosphere that naturally lent itself to encouraging all our guests to let their hair down and celebrate with us until the early hours. Quite honestly, Reveries added a magical sparkle to our entire day for which we will be eternally grateful.

I was looking for a “wow” factor for a 3 day annual conference in Brighton this September. I wanted to do something different this year for our delegates since taking over as Social Secretary. I was put in touch with John at Reveries by our conference hotel, The Grand Hotel who use him regularly and recommend him.
John certainly delivered the "wow" factor for both of our social evenings. We hosted a 900 delegate drinks/canapes reception at The Brighton Dome and a 250 delegate black tie dinner/dance at The Grand Hotel. The lighting, entertainment and atmosphere were electric for both events, we had so much fantastic feedback telling us it was the best conference social event they had attended in years.

From the very first meeting, Reveries made me feel like my ideas mattered and worked so hard to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. When I expressed budget concerns they were honest and made sure that we got the most for our money. I couldn't believe all the ideas they came up with and to be honest when it came to planning the wedding, working with the Reveries team was one of the best bits! I loved creating the right ambiance (fun, romantic and summery) and so many of our guests commented on the décor we had chosen.
I will always remember looking at those six foot colour changing stars and drapes on the ceiling and thinking "that was money well spent". I was so impressed with Reveries attention to detail, they made sure that I was never stressed out by any of the decisions (Parisian theme, lighting box drapes, six foot stars, DJ backdrop, chair covers and lighting colour scheme to name a few) and on the day before, they helped us set out all the small details as well.

A really huge thank you to you all for making our party on Saturday such an amazing success. We had the most wonderful time. The room looked truly spectacular.... You had taken so much care and trouble thinking of every last detail. I loved the tea lights in the trees which made it look like a magical forest and the lighting throughout the evening was superb. I looked back at one stage in the evening and saw all the trees were bright red! The light bulbs behind the stage were also inspired and gave it a querky and fun touch.
